Here are the steps to change the owner of Workspace/Folder in Worksite 10

–To change the owner of a Workspace/Folder, first we need to find the prj_id of the Workspace/Folder

select * where prj_name LIKE ‘%FOLDER\WORKSPACE_NAME%’

–To change it to a different owner…

update mhgroup.projects set prj_owner = ‘NEW_USERID’ where prj_id = ‘WORKSPACE_ID’

After changing the owner of the workspace, the author in the docmaster table for this workspace needs to change as well. The owner is still shown as the old one, but after updating the author, the new owner should appear on the workspace profile.

Please run the following additional query:

– update mhgroup.docmaster set author =’new userID’ where docnum = ‘you can get this from the query below ‘

–also, to change the underlying Workspace/Folder document’s owner update mhgroup.docmaster set operator = ‘NEW_USERID’, author = ‘NEW_USERID’ where docnum = ‘DOCNUM’

Please test this against a backup copy of the database. Also make sure you backup the database before running this against production database.

To find the docnum of a workspace: select * from mhgroup.projects where prj_name = ‘Exact Name of Workspace’ and subtype = ‘work’

You might have setup a new Ubiqiti access point using a controller based at another site, which is not the final destination of the device, so it is no longer configurable when you get to the new site.

If you can get the Old controller back up and connect to the access points you can use the below to move the Access Points to a new site via the Site Migration

If you cannot connect to the old controller anymore you can try logging into the access point via IP and doing:

You can use the Same Old Controller name :

  1. SSH into AP with former controller’s credentials
  2. in controller, forget AP
  3. reset to default with ‘ restor-default’
    connection will be terminated
  4. SSH into AP with ubnt/ubnt
  5. use mca-cli shell
  6. set-inform x.x.x.x:8080/inform
  7. where x.x.x.x is the ip of the new unifi controller
  8. in controller, adopt the AP
  9. repeat step 7 after adoption (sometimes this is necessary to get to provisioning)
  10. AP will reboot and provision

Finally you can perform a factory reset on the device to join it to a new controller

vmware_view_pilot-5132020[1]This will only work once a host has been added to Vcenter.

Use Vmware CLI to run this with the variables in Square Brackets edited out

This will change from Multipath to Round Robin

$hostview = Get-View -Viewtype HostSystem  –filter @{“Name”=[Fully qualified name of server]}
$storageSystem = Get-View $hostview.ConfigManager.StorageSystem
$policy = new-object VMware.Vim.HostMultipathInfoLogicalUnitPolicy
#$policy.policy = "VMW_PSP_MRU"
$policy.policy = "VMW_PSP_RR"
$storageSystem.StorageDeviceInfo.MultipathInfo.lun | foreach { $storageSystem.SetMultipathLunPolicy($_.ID, $policy) }

worksiteCreate a new File Server Location

In the worksite database management , go to File Serveron the Database and assign it a share with the imanage username full permissions

**Restart the Worksite Server Services to accept the new share

Change the a user who is an author of a document you want to move ( check on the existing fileserver or use monitor to check where the file is located ) to use the new file server for that database

Open that file and close it , this will initiate a move to the new fileserver

You can use the tool imRedDoc.exe ( Worksite Document Redistribution Tool) for this task. You can download this via the Worksite Support Site. You will need to download the correct version depending on your Imanage Worksite.

8.5 version can be downloaded through the WorkSite Resource Kit 8.5

Once downloaded, open the file usually found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Autonomy\WorkSite\Server\

Connect to the server with Admin credentials using WSADMIN permissions

Choose the database from which you would like to relocate the files

If you leave the Search Blank , it will do a Database level Search , to itemize this , do the below

Now in Worksite or Desksite create a Saved Search , but right clicking on a workspace in the correct Database and choosing New and Search Folder

Create a filter for this search e.g. this will usually be the creator of the document over a period of time. Create a name for the search and remember it

Go back to Worksite Document Redistribution Tool and enter this name into the Saved Search , click Validate to make sure the Search can be found

If you have specific documents flagged with a boolean value in one of the four document record boolean fields and want only these documents examined and updated, select the boolean field name from the Filter drop-down menu. CBOOL1 is selected by default. ( You can set this to blank if not )

Make sure you login to the Database Administration Tool and set the User’s fileserver to the new one

Click start, and you can see the files examined and files moved , and choose log to see this live
