Had an issue this morning where I needed to modify the call routing for a specific phone number – it was meant to ring multiple people but instead only rang one. Problem is searching for the phone number in teams users, resource accounts and call queues we couldn’t find the number anywhere.
Endup resorting to looking at call logs where we saw the number was allocated to “reception”. But searching the Teams users list the “Reception” account was missing, despite having all of the appropriate licenses.
Turns out the account was disabled and disabled accounts don’t show up in the teams user list.
