Recently have a few computers sharing the Onedrive Desktop Backup and the Edge.lnk shortcut was locked and replicating 100’s of times crashing explorer and the PC

I had to go into the machine via Powershell and CMD and Manually remove the .lnk files with

del *.lnk or rm *.lnk and Restart Onedrive

I then used the setting below to stop this happening in future
