You are not allowed to run a trace against Azure SQL Database.
To do query profiling on Azure SQL, you can use Dynamic Management Views or take a look at the Azure SQL Database Query Performance Insight.
You can also Use “Azure Data Studio” with the “SQL Server Profiler” Extenstion. (see below MS links)
As an alternative to the Profiler, the Query Store feature is automatically enabled, you can see the top resource usage SQL Statement and also specify the time frame and statistics (by CPU, Reads, avg or total)
