“This computer does not meet system requirements” veeam

Trying to install Veeam on a server 2008 and got greeted with the above message

“This computer does not meet system requirements”

However nothing staying why – relating to CPU/Memory or OS

Turns out the server had not been updated to SP1 for 2008 R2
