It seems after certain windows update the following happens :
Windows 8.1 PC Can’t Boot, Error Code 0xc000000d
The Boot Configuration Data File is missing some required information.
File: \BCD
Error code: 0xc000000d
Boot up into repair mode and open command prompt
- C:
- bootrec /rebuildbcd
- A (When prompted for options to add to boot list)
- Exit (to close the command prompt)
