On a brand new Android S6 Device , I tried to add a new contact view the Contacts App mapped through the phone, however I was greated with the error

screen overlay detected

It took me to the overlay settings , so I thought I would just enable this for the contacts or phone App , however I could not turn this on as it did not have overlay features

Rebooting the Device fixed this problem!
