A user recently moved computers and needed their Groove workspace moving as well. Upon the copying of the .grv file and setting up the workspace for download . For some reason only the Calendar Downloaded and the Files or Discussion tabs were missing, After deleting the workspace and redownloading , the following error was displayed :
Error Installing Groove Workspace : The Parameter is incorrect
To fix this issue I Deleted my Groove account from the computer by
- Select Options – Preferences, and select the Account tab.
- Click Delete Account from this Computer.
( Made sure I removed my account from any other Computers )
And got another user in the workspace to reinvite to the Workspace.

Just read your blog post – I’m suffering from similar issues with my account. Just curious, did you set up a brand new account and ask you colleague to invite you using that new account, or the old account?

When you delete the account off the computer , you also delete it from the workspace. I then got a new invite and re enrolled myself into the workspace
