Luckily a helpful techican &#8216;Mudassir Ansari&#8217; helped me with the following :<\/p>\r\n<p>You can fix this issue by performing the following ( pretty sure this will work to BPOS as well as 365) :<\/p>\r\n<p>Make sure your domain is verified in Office 365 and the correct DNS is set or nameservers migrated<\/p>\r\n<p>Download and install the Migration Tools 32bit here : <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/downloads\/en\/details.aspx?familyid=9ed5f4c1-7f0b-4506-a214-32093af6147a&amp;displaylang=en\">http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/downloads\/en\/details.aspx?familyid=9ed5f4c1-7f0b-4506-a214-32093af6147a&amp;displaylang=en<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>Go into your frontbridge control panel and disable the domain , then delete it!<\/p>\r\n<p>Open a<strong> Power Shell Window<br \/><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Enter this command : <strong>$LiveCred = Get-Credential<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Enter your office 365 administrator Details<\/p>\r\n<p>Enter this command : <strong>$Session = New-PSSession -ConfigurationName Microsoft.Exchange -ConnectionUri https:\/\/ps.outlook.com\/powershell\/ -Credential $LiveCred -Authentication Basic -AllowRedirection<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Then this command : <strong>Import-PSSession $Session<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Then this command : <strong>Set-AcceptedDomain **ENTER YOUR DOMAIN HERE** -OutboundOnly $true<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Wait 2-3 Minutes<\/p>\r\n<p>Then this command : <strong>Set-AcceptedDomain **ENTER YOUR DOMAIN HERE** -OutboundOnly $false<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Then wait for Microsofts Cloud SMTP Servers to Update , in my instance it took 15 minutes<\/p>\r\n<h3><\/h3>\r\n<h3>**** UPDATE &#8212; 16\/11\/2012 *****<\/h3>\r\n<p>Upon trying this recent with a customer , the Domain removed off FrontBridge Online Protection\u00a0Service\u00a0( FOPE ) however did not readd itself to 365 after running the above command<\/p>\r\n<p>The issue was the domain was duplicated in FOPE for some reason<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Login to Admin Panel of 365 as an account administrator<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Choose &#8211;\u00a0<strong>Exchange (\u00a0<\/strong>Outlook settings and protection. ) then Click\u00a0Manage<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Choose\u00a0<strong>Mail Control <\/strong>on the left hand side , then <strong>Domain&#8217;s and Protection<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t<li>Try Clicking on the &#8220;<strong>Configure IP safelisting, perimeter message tracing and email policies.<\/strong>&#8221;\u00a0<strong><\/strong>under<strong>\u00a0Forefront Online Protection for Exchange\u00a0<\/strong>( on the right )<\/li>\r\n\t<li>It will probably come up with an error<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Click on the domain on the left hand side which should \u00a0be marked\u00a0<strong>HOSTED<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t<li>Change this to Share ( wait 30 seconds and change back to Hosted )<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Log off then back in again and try to access the\u00a0<strong>Configure IP safelisting, perimeter message tracing and email policies.\u00a0<\/strong>which should work now and the domain should propigate<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><br \/><br \/><\/p>\r\n<h3>**** UPDATE &#8212; 23\/03\/2013 *****<\/h3>\r\n<p>As of the \u201cnew\u201d office 365 (ie \u2013 the service based on Exchange 2013), there is a new process for swapping a domain from Frontbridge to Office 365. This replaces what we used to do for existing FOPE\/Frontbridge customers.<\/p>\r\n<p>The new process is actually very easy<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>Change the MX record to the Office 365 MX record (domain-name.protection.outlook.com or similar)<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Disable the domain in Frontbridge\/FOPE.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Wait a couple of minutes and test mail flow.
