Trying to do a Firmware Upgrade on a HP Aruba array shows the message<\/p>\n\n\n\n

image_upgrade_another_image_or_drt_upgrade_in_progress<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0run “show swarm image-sync” on SSH on the Master controller <\/p>\n\n\n\n

is showed image-sync pending<\/strong>, this was because a new device has been added to the cluster , but it can’t Auto Join because the Firmware on the device is newer than the cluster! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn off auto-join mode <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reload ( Reboot via SSH ) the master controller AP <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should see the new AP in red so you can then select them and click the ‘x’ next to them to delete it or them<\/p>\n\n\n\n

run the “show swarm image-sync” again and image-sync pending<\/strong> should disappear so you can now upgrade <\/p>\n\n\n\n

re-enable auto-join<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get the Serial numbers of the new AP ( as this is the password for SSH ) and run reload via SSH<\/p>\n\n\n\n
