Recently got called into a situation where AP’s had been upgraded and the VC was not available<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ran the tasks to find the master : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Instant AP)# show election statistics<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Instant AP)# show summary support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The State was showing a Conductor ( Not Slave or Master ) on all AP’s<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aruba Instant OS 10 – Requires Aruba Central ( Cloud Managed )

We rolled back the firmware to V 8.X using the following commands

We can use the following command to switch between boot partitions of an IAP:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a) IAP# switch-partition-reboot<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The above command applies to single IAP<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b) IAP# switch-partition-reboot all
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And re setup the VC IP and upgraded to the latest version of 8.X
