Review the log file at %windir%\\system32\\Sysprep\\panther\\setupact.log for details.\u00a0 After resolving the issue use Sysprep to validate your installation again.<\/em><\/p><p id=\"joJpUAS\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"492\" height=\"202\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6276  img-responsive\" src=\"http:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/img_6350d4a970a21.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/img_6350d4a970a21.png 492w, https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/img_6350d4a970a21-300x123.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 492px) 100vw, 492px\" \/><\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>Looking at setupact.log after fixing the security permissions on the file showed\u00a0<\/p><blockquote><p>Error\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SYSPRP Package Microsoft.OneDriveSync_22186.904.1.0_neutral__8wekyb3d8bbwe was installed for a user, but not provisioned for all users. This package will not function properly in the sysprep image.<em><br \/><\/em>Error\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SYSPRP Failed to remove apps for the current user: 0x80073cf2.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Run this<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Remove-AppxPackage -Package &#8216;Microsoft.OneDriveSync_22186.904.1.0_neutral__8wekyb3d8bbwe&#8217; -AllUsers<\/p><p>Try again , I had another Package to remove : Microsoft.OneDriveSync_22207.1002.3.0_neutral__8wekyb3d8bbwe<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>Then I was able to Sysprep<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Running the sysprep command on a VM before Capturesysprep.exe \/oobe \/generalize \/mode:vm \/shutdownProduced the error :\u00a0Sysprep was not able to validate your Windows installation.
