{"id":5115,"date":"2021-06-04T05:24:21","date_gmt":"2021-06-04T05:24:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/?p=5115"},"modified":"2021-06-04T05:24:21","modified_gmt":"2021-06-04T05:24:21","slug":"remote-radius-remote-authentication-dial-in-user-service-server-group-does-not-exist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/research\/remote-radius-remote-authentication-dial-in-user-service-server-group-does-not-exist","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;remote RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) server group does not exist&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently trying to splin an enviroment up in DR and upon login to the RDS Gateway , I was getting the below<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh4.ggpht.com\/-M5Tjl5SzGkE\/UsXz7Bri_gI\/AAAAAAAAJps\/VaMZu-9galo\/image_thumb%25255B2%25255D.png?imgmax=800\" alt=\"RD Gateway and RemoteApp Error: Remote Desktop can&amp;#39;t connect to the remote  computer &amp;quot;RDS.Domain.Local&amp;quot; for one of these reasons - Ultimate Support for  IT Pros - ThirdTier\" \/><\/p><p>Logging into the RDGateway showing the following event from the RDS Gateway<\/p><p>&#8220;The user &#8220;<em>DOMAIN\\Username<\/em>&#8220;, on client computer &#8220;IP&#8221;, did not meet connection authorization policy requirements and was therefore not authorized to access the RD Gateway server. The authentication method used was: &#8220;NTLM&#8221; and connection protocol used: &#8220;HTTP&#8221;.
