Per below her Outlook would just sit on &#8220;Trying to Connect&#8221;<\/p><p id=\"AxrtdNJ\">\u00a0<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"359\" height=\"101\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3926  img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/img_5c5d16ed40b4e.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/img_5c5d16ed40b4e.png 359w, https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/img_5c5d16ed40b4e-300x84.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 359px) 100vw, 359px\" \/><\/p><p>They used OAuth for Outlook and 2fa which means when outside of a &#8220;trusted IP&#8221; the box should come up asking for the 2fa code , however this prompt was not coming up ever after restart\u00a0(usually fixes a stuck Oauth box ) .<\/p><p>Fix<\/p><p>Go into credential manager and delete all the ADAL for the user ,\u00a0then restart Outlook<\/p><p id=\"utYtnqb\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"618\" height=\"455\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3927  img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/img_5c5d1b9615e87.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/img_5c5d1b9615e87.png 618w, https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/img_5c5d1b9615e87-300x221.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 618px) 100vw, 618px\" \/><\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p>Or try deleting the following keys and restarting<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Computer\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Office\\16.0\\Common\\Identity\r\nOR\r\nComputer\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Office\\15.0\\Common\\Identity<br \/><br \/><\/pre><pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Computer\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Office\\xx.0\\Common\\Registration<\/pre><p>or<\/p><pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Computer\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Office\\16.0\\Common\\Registration<\/pre>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently had a user who when outside the office could not connect to 365.
