Error: Action failed for reg\u00adistry key HKLM\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\Windows: cre\u00adat\u00ading reg\u00adistry key.\u2026\r\n\r\nError 0x80070005<\/blockquote>\r\nThere are 2 possible fixes to this. The first is to download some software AVG have wrriten to fix the issue from here<\/a>\r\n\r\nUnzip the file and run the .bat file.\r\n\r\nIf this still does not resolve your issue you will need to manually change the registery permissions\r\n\r\nHere\u2019s how I fixed the problem\u2026\r\n

  1. Open the reg\u00adistry edi\u00adtor ( Start , Run then type regedit) and nav\u00adi\u00adgate through the folders to the fol\u00adlow\u00ading key:\u00a0 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE<\/strong>\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\Windows<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t
  2. Right-click on the Win\u00addows\u00a0key.<\/li>\r\n\t
  3. Choose Per\u00admis\u00adsions<\/strong>, then click Advanced.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t
  4. The first two entries should start with \u201cDeny<\/strong>\u201d per\u00adtain\u00ading to the \u201cEvery\u00adone<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0group.<\/li>\r\n\t
  5. High\u00adlight the first entry and click Remove<\/strong>. Now remove the other \u201cDeny<\/strong>\u201d entry.<\/li>\r\n\t
  6. Close the reg\u00adistry edi\u00adtor and try your un\/instal\u00adla\u00adtion\u00a0again.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
