{"id":1056,"date":"2013-07-26T00:14:56","date_gmt":"2013-07-26T00:14:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/?p=1056"},"modified":"2013-07-26T00:14:56","modified_gmt":"2013-07-26T00:14:56","slug":"citrix-reciever-usb-hub-power-exceeded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/fixes\/citrix-reciever-usb-hub-power-exceeded","title":{"rendered":"Citrix Reciever &#8211; USB hub power exceeded"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/usbpowerexceededr.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1057 img-responsive\" alt=\"usbpowerexceededr\" src=\"http:\/\/pariswells.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/usbpowerexceededr-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>After rolling out Citrix Receiver Version 4 on some new IBM machines ( M Series ) it down graded the milli amp value of the generica USB hub from the standard 500mA to 100mA<\/p>\r\n<p>There is a registry value to force this back up to 100mA which is located in<\/p>\r\n<p>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Enum\\USB\\Hardware ID of USB Hub\\Paramters<\/p>\r\n<p>( Find the Hardware ID of the USB hub in hardware ID&#8217;s )<\/p>\r\n<p>&#8220;ForcePortPower&#8221; Dword : 500<\/p>\r\n<p>Unplug and replug in device<\/p>\r\n<p>However this did not work.
