Small Business Server Backup Not Truncating Exchange Logs

A server was sucessfully completing it’s backup of Exchange, however the Log files where not being truncated. I resolved the issue on the server by performing the below in the order:

Backup Manaully , then Delete old log files
Turn on Circular Logging
Restart Information Store
Turn off Circular Logging
Restart Information Store
