File: \windows\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe Status: 0XC0000098 Info: Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt.
The machine wouldn’t boot into safe mode , after some more research this kernel file is used in Windows Vista. I copied the file from another Windows Server 2008 Datacenter boxVirtual Machine , and luckily the machine booted fine.
