I had a user today with an issue accessing the internet through the ISA server. Even though the “Automatically Detect Settings” option in internet explorer
Tools,
Internet Options ,
Connections,
Lan Settings was set through group policy for some reason it had been unchecked.
After ticking this box again internet was restored , would have been useful if ISA could have given me an authentication error!
