A client recently produced a mail merge , however the document was outside the printable margins. It did however print fine via the printer but displayed an error for each page :

Microsofts Fix for this , is to change the margins included the printable area by:

File , Page Setup, Margins Tab, Change all the Margins to Zero Press ok , and you should be greeted by a dialogue box telling you to fix your page margins

However if this changes your layout of your page into something totally off center then you can use this to stop the error message coming up in the first place

In MS Word

- Select File – Print
- In the Zoom area set scale paper size from “no scaling” to “letter” or “legal” or whatever your paper size is

You can now download the image files from here and load it onto a spare 40gig – 120 Gig IDE Hard Disk or one can be bought for around £60

In aid of his bandwith , I have also hosted the images here :

http://rapidshare.com/files/349182016/9100C_Image_1.rar

Image 1 will Extract to a 3 Gig .img File and Image 2 will extract to an 40 Gigabyte Image File. You will need to download WinRar for this

Selfimage is pretty self-explanatory to use.
	1. Connect the HDD to an IDE port on your computer or through a USB to IDE Converter
	2. Start SelfImage.
	3. Under 'Input' select 'File' then point to the location of the image.
	4. Under 'Output' select 'Drive' then point to the drive letter of HDD.
	5. Click 'OK'. Thats about it. Once SelfImage is finished, remove the new HDD and put it in your 9100C.

You may have to set the factory defaults on the DS on first boot.

Shift+Alt+green key - Tools - "Factory defaults" - Ok

Make sure the hard disk has the right jumper setting on ( To Single/Master) otherwise it will display "Hard Disk Error FFFFFFF"

Recently I was trying to insert a new image in an email signature for a user , however when I inserted the image it reduced the width which changed the resolution of the signature to an unreadable format. This is due to the fact outlook tries to resize the image to the width of an A4 page. There is no where in outlook 2007 to change the size of the image. To change the image back to its original 2

1) Find the sinatures HTM File , this will be in C:\Documents and Settings\”Your Username”\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures

2) Open ( The name of the signature).htm with Microsoft Word

3) Right click on the image , click format , select Picture tab and choose Reset Picture

4) Save the file an this will change the signature back to its original size!

This happens when you have a default signature at the bottom of your email , and is due to the fact outlook thinks your whole message is the signature due to :

A) Deleted the first two blank lines in the email to the point where the first character in your email is the first character in your signature. or

B) Hit Delete too much or used Backspace to the point where the first character of your signature is directly following the last character of your email.

The best way round this is to not do the above or add “–” to the start of every signature!

- Choose 'Folder permissions'.

Now you can view and set permissions.

calendar
- Select the user and click Ok, Ok..
- Set the permission and click 'Commit changes'

-- ACCESS FOR EVERYONE!! --

Let's say you want everyone to be able to edit and view each others
calendars.
This is a very common thing in many organizations.

Luckly this tool brings us a bulk permission set tool!

- Click tools
- Click 'Set Calendar Permissions'
- Click 'Add'
- Click 'Browse' and search for the 'Everyone' context
- Select it and click Ok, Ok..
- Set the permissions for everyone.
- Click Ok

A new pop-up reveals itself.
Read it carefully.. in the next dialog you can REMOVE permissions.
The role in the dropdownbox, as the pop-up tells us, has got no effect.
So select the entities you want to be removed by for example the 'Everyone' group.
Right now, we ain't going to use this setting since we are not removing, but setting permissions.
Just click 'Ok' and witness how the tool will edit al the calendar folders..

However upon opening the spell checker it had been changed to the French dictionary. I also noticed that I was unable to change it back to the English dictionary.

Turns out this is noted fault from Microsoft! http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974

Their solution is to download and install Windows Vista / Windows 7 New Version of Outlook Express = “Windows Live Mail”

I know how users get attached to their software , and the way it looks and feels! So luckily I found a solution so the user could still utilise Outlook Express Spell Checker

This is to Download and Install : http://www.snapfiles.com/downloads/dlspelloe.html ( Which is Spell Checker For OE 2.1 )

Just to note , this will only restore English ( United States ) Language
